The SpooneShake: You Won’t Be Disappointed.

My Friend had been constantly telling me about this protein shake and I honestly had been blowing him off about it. But this past Saturday, I was running behind and didn’t have time to cook a meal and I remembered that this shake was full of protein and paleo.

I made it. I tried it. It was the BEST DAMN SHAKE EVER.  It reminds me of my favorite ice cream of all time – Kohr Bros Peanut Butter Custard.

Make this as soon as you can and you won’t regret it. I also learned that it’s a good post workout shake too.

I’m not sure where he heard about this or whatever but this will forever be called the SpooneShake in my mind because he taught me about it and I legit could live off it.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 cup almond or coconut milk

1/2 Frozen Banana

4 ice cubes

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (recommend Advocare Muscle Gain or Primal Fuel)

1 scoop nut butter (I switch between organic PB and Almond)

  1. In your blender, layer first with ice, then Nut Butter, then protein powder, then banana, then milk.IMG_7661
  2. Blend thoroughly
  3. Serve.

Super simple and easy to make but tastes AMAZING.

SpooneShake Flavor Options:

  • PB Cup SpooneShake: Add 1/2 tsp of Cocoa Powder
  • Mocha SpooneShake: Add 1/2 tsp choc syrup and 1/2 tsp of instant coffee (mix coffee with milk to dissolve)
  • Peanut Butter and Jelly SpooneShake: Add 3 Small Frozen Strawberries and a splash more milk
  • Chocolate Chip Cookie SpooneShake: Add 1/8 cup dark dairy-free chocolate chips and a splash more milk
