Honey Soy Garlic Beef and Broccoli

I’m Paleo and I love food. Period. So when I decided to take the leap into this caveman lifestyle, I needed legit GOOD FOOD.

Came across this recipe and it’s so on point that it’s now a staple. If you like Asian food, this is totally for you.

What you’ll need:

1 Pound Think Cut Stir Fry Steak

2 Tbsp Coconut Aminos or Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce

1 Teaspoon of Honey

1/2 Teaspoon of Sesame Oil

2 Tbsp Water

2 Cups Broccoli Florets

Spring Onions (Garnish)

Mushrooms/Onions – Optional

3 Tablespoons Garlic Powder

Black Pepper

  1. Chop up your broccoli, fill a sauce pan with about an inch of water and cover, let it boil and steam for about 5 minutes or until broccoli is bright green. Remove from heat and drain.

2. Thinly slice all of your beef and put into a pan of hot oil, season with 1 tablespoon of garlic powder and black pepper.

3. Once beef is browned, add the optional vegetables – onion and mushrooms; re-season with garlic and black pepper.

4. Make the sauce! Combine Aminos/Soy Sauce, Honey, Water, Sesame Oil and Garlic Powder, stir thoroughly.

5. Pour over beef and veggies and reduce heat. Let it simmer. The color of the sauce will get darker, that’s when you know it’s done.

6. This makes about three servings – so it’s perfect for meal prep!
