The Road to 25 – Hello Paleo.

I’m pretty sure that everyone in life has those “reflective” ages where you sit back and think – what have I done so far? Where am I going? Am I happy?

In my mind, 25 has always been my first.

I’m not sure what I actually pictured for myself at my 25th, but I’ve always known that I’ve wanted to be established, comfortable in myself and happy.

So – my road to 25 starts – it’s 3 months away and it’s time to get serious people.

One of the most visual ways for me to communicate this is my personal appearance. Not in the sense that I want others to think I’ve changed, but for myself. I want to look at myself in the mirror and feel confident in the person I’ve “turned into.”

So I’ve decided to make a change and challenge my physical self one step further – I’m going to go Paleolithic. This diet is essentially the “primal” diet. Eat like a caveman ate; they were fit, strong and their nutritional snapshot benefited their physical well-being.

So what’s this mean for mean? Protein. Lots and lots of protein; not so much a lot of grains, processed sugars and even heavy dairy (I’m going to have some but definitely not a lot).

So these next three months will be quite interesting. I’m hoping for a transformation and on December 4th, I hoping to be happy with it.

The road to 25 begins now for me. Hello Paleo – welcome to my world.

Oh and lifting. There will be lots of lifting. I am a Hulk in Progress after all….
