I’m all about a good side dish and on this cleanse, this is a good, clean one! Lots of flavor, lots of nutrients and, super easy and quick to make!
This broccoli has a slight tang that is complimented with hints of garlic and soy.
What you’ll need for 1 serving:
1 Fresh Head of Broccoli
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp minced onion
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp of bragg aminos
1/4 lemon
Start by chopping up your head of broccoli into florets. Then fill the bottom of a sauce pan with a little bit of water.
Add your spices (including the braggs) to the water. DO NOT ADD THE LEMON yet.
Put your florets in the sauce pan and stir it to coat.
Cover with aluminum foil and put it on your stove on high.
When it boils, let it cook for 4 minutes (if you like your broccoli with a crunch) or a little longer for it to be a little more soft.
Let it cool for a minute and then squeeze the half of the lemon over it and toss.
It’s now ready to serve! Enjoy this healthy side!
