I needed a super quick snack yesterday so I opened my fridge and for some reason a caprese salad popped into my mind. Not having any fresh basil on hand and not being able to eat dairy until after Wednesday, I put together a clean version to get some of the flavors I had been wanting.
What you’ll need for 1 Serving:
1 Roma Tomato (During Maryland Tomato Season this will not be a Roma)
1/4 Tsp Basil
1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
Slice your Tomato as Thin or as thick as you like.
Top with Seasoning
Drizzle with Balsamic Vinegar and enjoy!
